Who am I?

Denver Uncommon is the company. Michael Stratton is the photographer. This website offers an insider's look into the neighborhoods of this great Rocky Mountain city. Denver Uncommon is evolving every day as Denver continues to change and grow into a progressive, urban landscape for other cities across America to model.

As for the photographer, Michael has been "photographing" around Denver for many years and enjoys taking pictures of Denver in its natural form. Michael works full-time in the Information Technology industry and has a masters degree in Technology Management from the University of Denver. Go Pioneers.

Is Denver Uncommon for hire? Do you take assignments?

What about my neighborhood?

Denver Uncommon tries not to play favorites when it comes to neighborhoods included and displayed on this website. Please know that this website is a work in progress and that your neighborhood still has a fighting chance.

What about prints larger than 16 x 20?

Denver Uncommon does not offer prints larger than 16 x 20. Please contact Denver Uncommon for sizes not available through online purchase i.e. 10 x 13.

What about print quality?

Printing services are outsourced to a professional printing firm then inspected by Denver Uncommon before shipment is made to the customer.

What about dry mounting?

All 11x14 and 16x20 prints are dry mounted at the lab then inspected by Denver Uncommon before shipment is made to the customer.

What kind of finish?

By default, the finish will be Gloss as opposed to Matte. if you prefer Matte, please select Matte as an option before adding an item to your cart. This is truly a matter of personal preference.

Matte (reduces glare - more "artsy") popular with black and white prints

Framing?

For large orders and Denver customers only. Please submit your detailed inquiry and Denver Uncommon will send you a quote.

Matting included?

When a customer qualifies for framing services, matting is included in framing costs.

Turnaround Time

Prints: The order fulfillment process begins once payment is received. Credit card payment helps to ensure more timely receipt of merchandise (10-12 business days from payment date). Payment received by check means that the order process starts once the check clears. In summary, customers should expect two weeks from payment clearance to receive merchandise.

Licenses: The turnaround time for licenses is much faster (next day from payment clearance). If a CD is requested, allow time for mail service (2-3 days from payment clearance).

Sales Tax

Colorado residents pay 7.85%.

All Sales Are Final

There are no refunds. Denver Uncommon will replace damaged merchandise as long as the damaged merchandise is returned within 30 days of the invoice date at your cost. We go to great lengths to ensure that merchandise is not damaged.

Shopping Cart does not work

Please check your firewall settings if you experience shopping cart problems. Please allow popups for this domain otherwise the cart will not work.

Slow Website

This site is best viewed with high speed Internet access. Higher quality images are shown on the detail pages within this site which will affect the performance if connecting via a 28k phone modem.

Not all images are available for purchase

Most images on this website are for sale. The images with their own add to cart page are available for purchase. All other photographs without a link to their own add to cart page are reserved for other uses.
